SIL's visit - Part 1

At the end of July, my sister-in-law (with her wee ones) started a month long Arizona visit from Illinois! We hadn't seen her in a year, so lots of pictures were taken... you know what that means! Lots of pages to scrapbook! Here's what I've got so far!

I put the blue flowers on the blue paper. I like how it came out. :)

Two Birthday Parties

Today I scrapped a couple birthday parties that I went to in June. Nothing too special with the layouts. I also started 4th of July weekend which I'll probably finish and post tomorrow.

Anniversary Pages

Over the past few days, I've been scrapbooking our anniversary trip to Sedona. I've also been participating in online scrapbooking challenges at justmommies.com. (I may not be a mommy yet, but I hope to be someday). I'll talk about those as I go.

There was a "use a quote" challenge. The quote above says "There is only one happiness in life: To love and be loved."

The above journaling talks about our dinner at The Hideaway and our after dinner excursion to Tlaquepaque, which is featured below.

The next was for a polka dot challenge. I made the dots with a hole punch. :)

I've been busy!

I did this one yesterday. It has my very first pinwheel. That's my mom's horses Reno & Jack! They're her babies!

My last Oregon page. Me & my mommy! I'm not good with single picture layouts, so this was a challenge for me. But I think it came out okay!

Now I'm caught up and I'll start posting what I do as I do it, maybe a couple times a week... possibly daily. LOL. I do try to scrap every day, but I skip a few here & there.

Our day in Oatman. Oatman is a neat old mining town not far from where we live. The wild burros live there and roam free, and are Oatman's biggest tourist attraction now.

Birth to about 3 1/2 years old
